actually, i had chosen a bedroom in another apartment, but it would only be available two weeks after my arrival in florence. thus, i had to find another place to stay. by following an indication of Marco (the owner of the first room i have chosen), i ended up at casa letizia (which is, in fact, an apartment).
the place was colorful and eccentric, so, i obviously liked it!
there are hundreds of kitsch decorations throughout the house. moreover, each room has a unique color and a special décor.
my room was green and the pillow had a pillowcase with a cat drawn that made me remember the pads that my grandmother (my father's mom) used to have.
iskra stayed in the pink bedroom. there were also the yellow and the violet bedrooms, but there were no guests in them.
i also have to mention the AMAZING, big, and pink bathroom where i could relax every day...
a good thing about staying in this apartment is that Letizia not only welcomes you very well, but also helps you with the adaption in florence. soon as i arrived, she told me where i could buy a cell phone, gave me a map of the city and taught me the way to college. she also told me to always remove my shoes before enter in the apartment, to not soil the floor. furthermore, Letizia had two romanian maids to clean the apartment once a week. Letizia does not live in the apartment, but is there every morning to make sure everything is in order.
i need to tell that i have a great affection for this place... because, in the end, the words written in that little picture, which was hung in the wall of the yellow kitchen, are right: home is where you make it.

(a porta de entrada e a cozinha)
(the front door and the kitchen)
(meu quartinho!)
(my lovely bedroom!)
a iskra ficava no quarto rosa.
(fofo!)
(cute!)
(there was nobody in this bedroom during the period i was at letizia's)
e o violeta...
(também estava desocupado)
(it was also without guests)
